These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to sharkit.in and the SharkIT apps (the "Platform"), operated by SharkMe Infotechno Private Limited ("SharkIT", "we", "us"). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. What SharkIT is (and isn't)
SharkIT is an online marketplace that connects founders and MSMEs with investors, supported by verification (MCA filings, GST-OTP) and AI-generated deal scores. SharkIT is not a stock exchange, broker, investment adviser, or portfolio manager, and does not guarantee funding, returns, or the accuracy of any investment outcome. SharkIT is an independent platform and is not affiliated with the Shark Tank™ television franchise.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering contracts under Indian law. Founders must be authorised to represent the business they list; investors are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with laws applicable to them.
3. Your account & accurate information
- You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity under your account.
- All information you provide — especially financial and ownership details — must be true, complete, and current. Misrepresentation is grounds for immediate removal and may carry legal consequences.
- Verification badges reflect data from government sources at the time of retrieval; they are not an endorsement or investment recommendation by SharkIT.
4. Deals happen between users
Term sheets, negotiations, and investments are agreements between founders and investors. SharkIT facilitates discovery, verification, and documentation support but is not a party to your deal. Conduct your own diligence; AI scores and valuation reports are informational inputs, not advice.
5. Fees
Listing is free for early founders. Fees for premium services (such as valuation reports or boosts) are shown at the point of purchase and processed via Razorpay. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
6. Acceptable use
- No fraudulent listings, impersonation, or misleading financial claims.
- No scraping, reverse-engineering, or misusing other users' data obtained through the Platform.
- No harassment or spam through Platform messaging.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Intellectual property
The Platform, its branding, and its software are owned by SharkMe Infotechno Private Limited. Content you upload remains yours; you grant us a licence to host and display it as needed to operate the Platform.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SharkIT is not liable for investment losses, deal outcomes, user conduct, or indirect and consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of our registered office.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified on the Platform or by email.
